Back to School Program Model - TMPD
Project overview
Everyone does appreciate the efforts that have been put in place by the Government in ensuring that schools are reopened in due time. One of them is the plan to provide masks to learners across all learning institutions. However, there are challenges in establishing the status of education institutions in readiness for the planned re-opening. To be able to do this, the Ministry of Education should adopt a system for effectively assessing and showcasing the progressive preparedness of each learning institution by validating and analyzing data collected through the generation of reports. This can be achieved by using a unique model that acts as a progressive tracking system. The model will showcase how well-prepared learning institutions across the country are to re-open in terms of percentage coverage and numerical values of the data provided. This model has systems that would help identify challenges for ease of projecting the correct number of pupils to be accommodated in a given space. The model will create a central database that allows effective administrative, finance, procurement, and logistics system features that gives an overview of the needs of different learning institutions across the country to assess how well prepared they are before opening.
